We’ve all read the news and human interest stories about the gallant Mark remaining next to the bedside of his fallen wife, Gabrielle Giffords. After she was shot, he left his astronaut duties and spent all his time by her side. And doing interviews with the media. NASA even named a backup, thinking he wasn’t going to go.

Everyone had great sympathy for him, of course. They were really just newlyweds, married barely 4 years. There’s a great picture of them that looks like how I would like to look at my husband if I got married. Daily Beast says they’re always living in different cities, however. Well, that keeps it romantic.

From the LA Times:

Saying he knew his wife’s mind well, astronaut Mark Kelly announced Friday that he was resuming his training to command the final flight of space shuttle Endeavour…

“I know [my wife] very well, and she would be very comfortable with the decision that I made,” he told a news conference in Houston that was broadcast on NASA TV.

Here’s what’s weird: Kelly won’t tell anyone whether she can even speak! Or how she might be communicating. Maybe he’s just good at reading minds!

Giffords and Kelly Wedding picture

The point is, I hope he has gotten the go ahead from her, although why he would be secretive about this is very strange. Otherwise, he’s rather headstrong in his decision.

(Oh, and Congress hasn’t even provided money for the shuttle yet. :))

Cartoon caption: Congresswoman wife, shot in head, still recovering in hospital bed. NASA astronaut husband needs to go on space mission soon, to lead. WANTED: GOOD COUPLES COUNSELOR

I had fun with this cartoon. I actually got part of the idea from Wayne Resnick, on KFI, when he was talking about them not being your typical married couple. I didn’t even name the couple. And I wrote their descriptions in rhyme.

I am fascinated by how people make decisions and compromises. (what’ does “compromise” mean?) And when I thought about a counselor, maybe I was a teeny tiny bit influenced by my new cartoon gig on Psychology Today!

J/K! Just kidding! Everyone knows it was Jared Loughlin who pulled the trigger, even though he was obviously under the spell of the right-wing media.

Just Kidding again! I wanted to see if you were paying attention. So not true. He read the Communist Manifesto and was a Liberal. But lefties can’t get their fingers to stop pointing at Sarah Palin for Every. Single. Event.

Sarah is innocent. Okay, Sarah, you did make one mistake: Don’t draw guns or crosshairs on top of anyone. Also, ever since you started your TV show and proved that hunting is a sport for you, I would never vote for you now. Yes, I’m that against hunting. but I’m hoping you’ll come around on that issue Sarah. Guns, okay, killing animals for fun, not okay.

But the media has gone straight from the shootings, to Sarah as a cause. Amazing how non-logical that is. According to Mediaite:

“However unfair the link is,” said [Geraldo] Rivera, “I think that this event affects Sarah Palin’s at least short term political future.” He then offered his prediction that, tomorrow, Palin’s name will (still) be tied to the media’s flurry of reports on the shooting, facing “criticism and scrutiny” for a perceived link to alleged gunman Jared Loughner.

Newsbusters is not exactly a neutral news organization – they’re a conservative group – but maybe they’re necessary in our liberal media world. They point out this ridiculous politicization of the tragedy, by seeking everything Republican to blame. They had a great tweet from Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas:

who tweeted, “Mission accomplished, Sarah Palin

OMG! Needless to say, now we all know the boy shot them on his own, with no help from anyone else, and no indication that he even knew who Sarah Palin is.

This cartoon took me about 5 hours, I’m embarrassed to say. I had to figure out how to do the jigsaw puzzle thing, what clues to include, etc. I rearranged the puzzle pieces for Slate, to make a more pleasing arrangement for teh nutballs over there.

I don’t care how much money someone makes. I’m a capitalist, and good on you for being rich. I was amused, then, to watch the Bell CA fiasco, when the LA Times Reporters noticed what the ignorant populace there didn’t: just how much money the Councilmen, Robert Rizzo, Police Chief, etc were making. Surprising, but THEY WEREN’T CHARGED WITH A CRIME. Because Rizzo and the others did nothing wrong except reward themselves a lot of money by voting for themselves. Nothing wrong with that.

Afterwards, of course, they were accused of nasty misappropriation of public funds. The 2 reporters in the LA Times investigation, Jeff Gottlieb and Ruben Vives, spoke at the LA Press Club about their investigation. Interesting story, but I still don’t hate the accused.

Bill Schorr cartoon on Bell councilmen in jail

Of course, when the populace is so apathetic and uneducated that only 1% of them voted in the election, these kinds of oversights and mishaps are bound to happen from time to time. :)

Last week, the LA Times reported that for at least 8 years, the City of Bell has been seizing vehicles for imaginary code violations, and then telling the owners that they had to pay various fees.

Normally, such cases would be reviewed by a judge to ensure that they had been settled fairly. But the vast majority of these cases do not appear to have been presented to a court.

The LA Times doesn’t stop after explaining this fraud and lack of due process. The article continues:

A number of those caught up in the enforcement efforts were struggling to get by.

Of course, the income of those having been bamboozled by these fake charges has nothing to do with the illegal activity of the City of Bell; these unlawful shakedowns by the city would offend and penalize both rich and poor.

But that’s the LA Times for you: if there are any low-income people connected with a story, the uber-liberal Times will point them out, as if they have more feelings and are more vulnerable than other citizens. Infuriating! Who knows, perhaps they hope that readers will get emotional and vote for more social services…

Bell, CA cartoon

California cartoonist Bill Schorr was right on top of the situation with this funny Bell cartoon. There aren’t enough cartoons about bad Councilmen. Online, most cartoons look better in color, and even the cratchety “classic” editorial cartoonists are beginning to work in color now, but black and white for prison works just fine! The vertical jail bar stripes also look good with the horizontal captions, so thanks, Bill.

You can find more Bill Schorr cartoons here, and if you wonder what will happen to this council, you might want to check out this scary cartoon. (Sorry, no link now. Uclick Gocomics threw away 2 years of my cartoons on Slate, Gocomics and Yahoo News when they kicked me out.)

Am I right about the LA Times, or am I right? I wrote more about this in the link below.

Little later than I wanted, but still a good scoop.

The LA Press Club has some pretty good speakers, but I was looking forward to the one on talk radio for weeks, and it didn’t disappoint!

KFI’s John Kobylt, half of the John and Ken show, Talkers magazine publisher Michael Harrison and KPCC/LA Times journalist and radio host Patt Morrison will be among the participants of a high-powered panel discussing the state of talk radio in L.A. and the nation, presented by the Los Angeles Press Club, Thurs., Oct. 28, at the Steve Allen Theater.

According to Talkers magazine publisher Michael Harrison, who coined the term “talk media” and defined it years ago in preparation for this new era, “Talk media is collectively the most accurate bellwether of American public opinion in the mass media today.”

Radio veteran Bill Moran will moderate by tossing such queries as “What is the impact of Talk Radio on the mid-term elections?” and “Is a strong news department relevant or even necessary to the content of Talk Radio?” And there are many other probing questions he will be challenging participants to answer. Two of those being put on the firing line include top talk show program directors Robin Bertolucci of Clear Channel and KABC’s Jack Silver.

I happened to sit next to Bill Moran at another event and knew he would be a good moderator. He told a couple of us beforehand that he was going to ask John Kobylt why John and Ken had such a strange position on Prop 23 (set up by oil

Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown in a close physical encounter

companies to squash AB 32, our very strong anti-pollution act, which hasn’t even started yet). John and Ken have been ranting for weeks that it will cost everyone their job, and no one believes in Global Warming anyway. (Right.) Bill did ask John about this, and he went right into his spiel against global warming! (Although I agree with him about fluorescent bulbs are ugly, don’t fit anywhere, and have terrible light. Hate.)

patt morrison: two t's in her name and a hat on her head

Also, before it started, I talked with Patt Morrison of NPR for a couple of minutes about her dog – told her I had been following rescue groups on Facebook. Then she said she had to leave to go change her hat, because she had a better one in the car. (She is known as the hat lady everywhere. She writes a column for the LA Times, and has a hat in that pic, too.) I wasn’t sure if she was kidding, but she returned wearing a different hat!!!

John Kobylt came late; I was so excited I got his autograph! He brought his wife and kid, too, so maybe he thought it would be fun for them – I hope so. Not that it toned him down any. Anyway, it turned out that he, another fellow, me, his wife, someone else, all from PA/NJ area – kind of funny. I told him my editor at CalWatchdog, Steve Greenhut, was a guest host on KFI on Superbowl, and he laughed. (Steve was great!)

To get back to Meg: John & Ken interviewed her for half an hour on August 5, and kept playing the interview again the next few days.

The SF Chron describes it:

Whitman’s interview on the powerhouse station KFI 640 with John and Ken provided an often sweat-inducing half hour of radio — a compelling and unscripted exchange between two broadcast pitbulls and a GOP candidate who has rarely ventured off her talking points in press appearances.

The podcast of the 3:30 p.m. interview can be found here.

Whitman’s agreement to appear in studio with John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou, the two SoCal talk radio hosts with a loyal conservative fan base of an estimated million listeners, comes as they have lambasted the Republican gubernatorial candidate in recent weeks, mostly on the issue of illegal immigration.

The two have accused Whitman of switching positions on issues, and have specifically criticized a Spanish langugage op-ed piece…

I heard part of it, but it made me uncomfortable – I would hate to be on the spot like that (although they interviewed me over a year ago about my Mexico cartoon and couldn’t have been sweeter!). But it turns out all of it was

meg whitman on kfi - thanks SFgate for photo

on purpose to make her feel terrible: John said there were no breaks or commercials, so she wouldn’t have any place to cool down or ask anyone anything or compose herself. As he put it, there was no corner for her. They were surrounded by cameras and hot lights, and questions that didn’t stop – he said her face got very red. They also interrupted her the whole time.

Someone else on the panel said it was like they shanghaied her. He himself said she shouldn’t have agreed to come on, and that Jerry Brown had come on many times in the past, but wouldn’t come on before the election, and that was wise of him. *John also said JB is crazy!

As I said, they played the interview several more times that week, so everyone could hear how she stumbled, etc. A couple of other people on the panel said they thought this will be what makes her lose. I don’t know, the poll has been falling mostly this month, 2 months after their interview. If it’s the maid’s fault, I hope they sue her. What a low-class human being she is.

A couple other interesting tidbits: Michael Harrison said that talk radio became right and rabid in 1987, when they no longer enforced the Fairness Doctrine: to interview each side the same amount of time. I didn’t know that. And John said that their biggest audience isn’t in LA, it’s Orange County, and places like Riverside County, where they come out to meet them in tens of thousands! I always thought there were more people like me here in LA – my friend Bruce listens to them all the time, even more than I do. But I’m not like “those people” in Riverside, really I’m not! And finally, at different times during the evening, John described himself and Ken as either/or populist and libertarian.

Your choice.

Cartoon caption: Cartoon is 2 separate parts. One is a woman doing a tree pose, a yoga position. The other half is Meg Whitman and Jerry Brown duking it out, called Political Posturing. Bam! Pow!

Yeah, been doing a little yoga lately. I had fun drawing Meg and Jerry doing the dance of hate – boxing, about to wrestle. I have never understood wrestling – it’s so mean, and so INTIMATE, all up in someone else’s space! Boxing, too. Who wants to touch someone else’s face, unless you love them? But when it’s just the two of you, I guess…

Gocomics (Sorry, no link now. Uclick Gocomics threw away 2 years of my cartoons on Slate, Gocomics and Yahoo News when they kicked me out.) has…9 comments on this cartoon. Not about yoga, no.

And speaking of Halloween, here’s the one I did last year for Slate (no link now), which, oddly enough, still works today!

Arnold is leaving the building. That is kind of sad, but at least he doesn’t leave in a wimp like way, but in a very Germanic, dig in his heels, fairly consistent way. I still respect him, even though I totally believed the LA Times article before his election that he is not worthy of being a husband and treats women disrespectfully. And there’s even more of him here, with a small photo that shows him pawing a UK talk show host!

Also, not always Republican, no. Let’s call him Republican lite.

arnold schwarzenegger wants a high speed train, people be damned

The LA Times had an article that he wanted to leave something behind him, a kind of legacy, that would be a high speed train connecting the big North-South corridor of California. (As usual, once again the search engine on LA Times doesn’t give it up.) I think it sounds cool, but the problem is, then you get eminent domain, which I totally HATE, which is the gov’t taking your property and home at what it says is a fair value. For the public good.

I do believe in parks and public land. And I believe in railways, which work very well back east, although I don’t know anyone who takes it out here. Yet – it’s that attitude of you MUST DO THIS that I hate in the government. And it’s our homes, you know, a dear place to all of us.

Now, CurbedLA says:

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger really wants California’s high-speed rail to get going. So much so that he’s hoping a tiny portion of the development is built so he can get a photo-op (and be forever remembered as the politician who spear-headed the line). Meanwhile, this week, he vetoed a measured that would have killed funds for the project if fiscal accountability wasn’t taken into consideration.

CalWatchdog calls it a bullet train, and says there isn’t enough money, anyway.

Caption: Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in a last ditch effort to win an Oscar as Guv: Okay, call me a robber baron, but I’m a High Speed Rail baron, people. Signs outside window says Save our Farm, and Keep our Home.

I did several versions of this – he’s a good looking man, but I find his head is hard to draw! This is the earlier one. Here’s another drawing in Yahoo! (Sorry, no link now. Uclick Gocomics threw away 2 years of my cartoons on Slate, Gocomics and Yahoo News when they kicked me out.) and one in Gocomics (no link now), which has, of this writing, 24 comments already!

Also, in case you don’t know California history, we have had a series of robber barons through the years, from oil to railroads to gold – why, some of our finest museums were founded by them!

Perhaps it’s insensitive of me to bring up Bill Clinton and the infamous blue dress RIGHT when everyone is all gaga over Chelsea’s expensive wedding and her expensive dress. I’m sure someone will tell me, if I am. But I’m curious about a couple of things at that wedding. Really, how come Obama was not invited? Also, the news reports made a big deal that Bill Clinton was there. Why wouldn’t he be at his only daughter’s wedding?? Confusing.

bill clinton cartoon with the blue dress

Anyway, if you are a loyal reader, you know that sex affairs interest me, but condemnation does not. Mistresses, gay sex in bathrooms, oral sex in the White House, Tiger Woods (who was shanghaied), all mildly interesting, but I don’t care. What happens behind closed doors is probably lovely and very fun. Also, private.

I do think Clinton’s charm and strength did get the 2 women journalists released from the strange man in Korea. Yet I still went for the joke. What are you gonna do. At least I didn’t mention the stain. (oops.)

Also, my liberal friends thought being a Friend of Bill was a big deal here in Hollywood, so I put a FOB button on his suit.

And since I do agree Bill was much more responsible for his affair than Monica – but she was there, wasn’t she? – I got in touch with Monica Lewinsky’s agent a couple years later to ask if Monica would like to write a blurb for my Love Me or Go To Hell Book! Monica was designing purses at the time, and her agent said she loved the book, but was too busy. Right.

Anyway, best wishes for the newlywed Chelsea Clinton and whoever the guy is. Your wedding present is in the mail.

Cartoon caption for blind Google: I’m former President Bill Clinton. Today I got Kim Jon Il to release the two hostage journalists. I did good. So, can we please let bygones be bygones now? And MOVE ON? The blue dress speaks: okay!

And oh yeah, USA Today finally used one of my cartoons in their roundup. About time!

This is a cartoon about Chief Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife, who started her own tea party, neutrality be damned.\

It is also about a contemporary tea-party idea for a centuries old play! A woman in Greece, a long long time ago, before Christ, decided that she wouldn’t have sex with her husband until he stopped the war, and convinced every woman in the city to do the same! According to Wiki, this is one of only a few plays that we have left from Aristophanes, a Greek playwright BC. Sad. But what a fantastic premise!

Originally performed in classical Athens in 411 BC, it is a comic account of one woman’s extraordinary mission to end The Peloponnesian War. Lysistrata convinces the women of Greece to withhold sexual privileges from their husbands and lovers as a means of forcing the men to negotiate peace…

Sorry for the history lesson. I majored in Drama, and this playwright is unforgettable!

Lysistrata cartoon for Supreme Court Clarence Thomas

The play is about forcing peace upon people which is a turn-off and not very libertarian. I’m more war-like, myself.

I guess I just like the idea of withholding sex to get what I want. :)

The LA Times wrote Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife Helen’s new hobby, her very own tea party. Once the Times gets their teeth into something, they don’t like to let go! But I can see why, in this case – it is pretty shocking that the wife of a Supreme Court Justice can just up and start her own political party! Influence, much? I can’t believe she is allowed to do this!

“I am an ordinary citizen from Omaha, Neb., who just may have the chance to preserve liberty along with you and other people like you,” she said at a recent panel discussion with tea party leaders in Washington. Thomas went on to count herself among those energized into action by President Obama’s “hard-left agenda.”

But Thomas is no ordinary activist.

She is the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, and she has launched a tea-party-linked group that could test the traditional notions of political impartiality for the court.

…

Although Liberty Central is a nonpartisan group, its website shows an affinity for conservative principles. Her biography notes that Thomas is a fan of Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin, author of “Men in Black: How the Supreme Court is Destroying America.”

“She is intrigued by Glenn Beck and listening carefully,” the bio says.

Sounds like there might be 3 people in that bedroom soon.

Now I am a capitalist, and although I love this cartoon, I need to sell cartoons, so I changed the caption slightly for Slate. (I don’t expect everyone to have read a play as cool as this one.) It still illustrates the problem.

Caption for Google: Picture of Chief Justice Clarence Thomas and his wife in bed. WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE WIFE OF A SUPREME COURT JUSTICE STARTS HER OWN TEA PARTY?? Honey? Not tonight, Clarence. Remember Lysistrata? That.

It’s come to my attention that some people don’t think the same way I do! Astonishing!

For instance, one thing that I’m extremely passionate about is privacy. For others, as well as myself. And couthness. Uncouth is not cool. This includes making fun of others’ sex lives, or asking them about it directly. So rude! (However, a little bit of gossip is okay among friends, in hushed tones.)

I saw Andrew Young and his wife on 20/20, talking about this book he had written about the years he worked with John Edwards, The Politician: An Insider’s Account of John Edwards’s Pursuit of the Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down. Oh, and about a dirty sex tape he found of Edwards. Nice. Young has written a tell-all as he rolls out all the dirty secrets of John Edwards and his mistress. Only this is a revenge- book, and as the Youngs described how pious they are, the whole thing stank, so I did this cartoon shortly after the show. I think I’m the only cartoonist on Slate or cagle.com who did one on this topic. I don’t know why! I know it’s not hard news, but it’s still important, and very sad, when a politician gets outed by his former best friend.

So I wasn’t interested to see Andrew Young and his wife interviewed by Oprah tonight, and only paid attention when I realized she was giving him a good slapdown! She kept asking why Young went along with the lie about being the baby-daddy, and why Cheri agreed to let the woman stay in their house, and why at this point they still believed Edwards would be a good President. This is an example of why Oprah is really good as an interviewer (other than with her pride and joy, Obama) – she does ask the tough questions.

Why did the Youngs do it? THE MONEY. Well, hopes for it. And the position in the White House they’d have, should he become President.

Cheri is really beautiful; her face is narrow, like a fox, and she is toned, over every inch of her body, and it doesn’t really matter if it was Pilates or not, does it. (Oprah has the best lighting bar none for her guests so it’s nice to look at all the pretty people.) But Cheri complained at least twice, that the worst part was when they were sent off with the pregnant mistress to live in California, supported by millionaires and billionaires. She said this twice, so I’ll repeat it, too. Millionaires and billionaires were running their lives, isn’t that awful!? Cheri, where is your PR person when you need her?

I understand revenge, but Young wouldn’t have had to go this far had he learned how to say NO when Edwards asked him to pretend he was the father of Rielle Hunter’s baby. Assertiveness training, Andrew! And Cheri agreed to have Edwards mistress, now pregnant, live with the whole family until she delivered! How weird is that!

Then they found a sex tape of Edwards and supposedly his mistress. (there seems to be a lot of emphasis that she is pregnant in the tape – like what, pregnant women don’t have sex? More weirdness!) Anyway, maybe holding onto this tape like a talisman gave him courage to write the book.

The LA Times said:

Got a chief aide? Don’t abandon him for your mistress. That’s the chief lesson that powerful, philandering men can take from The Politician: by Andrew Young. For all its finger-pointing and salacious details, this online bestseller is really about a bromance gone bad.

…Is the book transfixing? Not exactly — it’s more of a whinge. Young is harshly critical of everyone around him but doesn’t take responsibility for his own decisions. He went along with saying Hunter’s child was his, but he could have said no; he never wrestles with moral issues…

…This does not engender sympathy, and every effort that Young makes to portray Elizabeth Edwards unkindly reflects back on him.

Cartoon caption: John Edwards? Meh. But I sure wish I could be a scurvy, salacious, backstabbing “aide,” and write a tattletale bestseller. The Politician, by Andrew Young.

I read the word meh on the TV boards. I’ve never used it in real life.

That week my cartoon came out the whole east coast was covered in snow! Very dramatic and pretty. So I had fun painting snow for the first time in a while, and even putting some frost on the edges of the bookstore window. This took me a while to color. Coloring cartoons takes me about 3 times as long as drawing them, but I go that extra mile to keep my readers and editors happy.

Or do you prefer the 19th century cartoon look? There’s some of those cartoon guys around, too. Black and white all the way.

Sarah Palin’s new book, Going Rogue, is out! Oprah honored her with a chat. All forgiven.

I see Top of the Ticket in the LA Times just reviewed Going Rogue: An American Life. No, not really! Instead, Andrew Malcolm just quoted from a review in the WaPo written by Ana Marie Cox, the original Wonkette from Gawker.

One thing is clear: No one can say today with any certainty what lies ahead in national politics for the hockey mom and Todd’s biggest snow-machine racer fan.

Now, one minor disclaimer: We haven’t actually read Palin’s new book. Not one single page. We have a copy. We intend to read it. And we imagine it’s fairly entertaining, perhaps revealing, as self-serving inside political stories go. We may even autograph it to ourselves from her.

Also, hopefully, it’s short on exclamation marks!!!

But after reading the Washington Post’s review of “Going Rogue” the other day and the reviewer’s candid confession that she hadn’t really had time to finish the book that she was writing so authoritatively about, we realized this is the latest thing in U.S. society and journalism.

Why bother reading any of it? Just talk about it.

Well, if I get a review copy – and I don’t know why I would, although that would be swell – I’ll review it here! Go, Sarah, Go!

Meanwhile, let’s see if it turns up in Oprah’s Book Club…

To set up the drawing, I wanted to pay homage to a wonderful painting of Soul or Spirit touching man, when their fingers almost touch, but I can’t find the name of it or a photo of it! I saw it in the Huntington, I think. Does anyone know the name of that painting?

Instead I found this, The Creation of Man by Michelangelo, a fresco in the Sistine Chapel. Okay, Oprah as G-d! I love it! And at the last minute I tossed her book in, as if she was playing booksie with Oprah. I think there is some great strong tension in this cartoon. Happy.

Photo of Michelangelo borrowed from here.

Cartoon caption: If Oprah can shake hands with Sarah Palin…why can’t we find peace in the Middle East?

Whoa, it gets released on November 17, but it’s on sale now for only 9 bucks! Is that good or bad?

I want to support her, really, but dropping out at this stage of the game was a mistake. I know, she didn’t “drop” the GOP, but Going Rogue? maybe in other things, but not this. What does she think will happen, after her book? Books are fun, as I know from my own, but it’s not like you feel like you’ve made it afterwards. What’s next? Well, when I looked this up on Google, I find a blog with that title! What’s next Sarah? (with no comma). It says:

Sarah Palin is going to be on Oprah publicizing her book “Going Rogue” on November 17, 2009. Check your local t.v. listing.

Okay, then!

Cartoon caption: “Sorry! I was going to go as Sarah Palin Sarah Palin Sash And Glasses Halloween Costume Kit, but I decided to drop the party, and write a book, instead.”

As you can see, I’m still perfecting my skill with the horizon fade, which I still forget the name of. I only used it once this time. I’ve been leaving my people’s skin all white, no flesh color this week – just seems right for Halloween, more ghost (or corpse)- like.

I was going to make the cat all black, but that’s very difficult, because then you can’t see the face at all. The real expert in drawing black cats is the cartoonist for Kit N Carlyle, Larry Wright, who is also a very talented editorial cartoonist. I wish he had a website! I found a book, Kit ‘N’ Carlyle, but it’s over $250!

The other colors just dropped in very nicely.

There’s always a story behind the gag, and I do feel kind of bad for her Significant Other, who’s all dressed up on his lonesome, as a vampire! Look, he even had to put a frilly shirt on! Do you think he’ll still go to the party? I think yes, and he’ll persuade her to go, too. She just started to identify too much with the character of Sarah Palin. It’s Hollywood, it happens.
