Who’s your rac-ist?

Glenn Beck cartoon

It’s talk radio. Grow up and get over it. I love talk radio, although I don’t have much time to listen to it. My all time fave is the great Phil Hendrie! I like Adam Carolla in small doses, when he doesn’t get gross.

I’ve never heard Glenn Beck, so I don’t know his schtick, but I know censorship when I hear it. Phooey on this boycott.

I believe “r-a-c-i-s-t” is  used by minorities against whites 98% of the time. It’s my belief that that is the worst thing you can call someone in America today, other than murderer.

I don’t think that word should be used at all. But that being said,  I think we should even it out. More white people should call minorities r-a-c-i-s-t. Because why should it be a one way street?

I do know something about the power of this nasty word – check out the comments on my cartoon about Mexican swine flu (as it was called before h1n1.}. Note that this cartoon was NOT about Mexicans, it was about a country which apparently can’t get its sh1t together, no matter how big their population. I’ve never been called that word before in my life, ever. But liberal hate blogs were bored, and it’s easy to steal cartoons off the internet and then pass them off as blog content when you’re too un-creative to think of anything yourself.

Everyone told me, hey, you’re an op-ed cartoonist now, get used to it. I don’t think anyone can get used to being hated, even when you know you’re innocent.  No wonder Glenn Beck cries.

Because Glenn Beck is a radio talk show host, it doesn’t make him right, or funny, or popular. I don’t believe Obama is r-a-c-i-s-t, myself. But Beck is going to say whatever to get ratings. Let’s just call him a ratings-ist. As far as the advertisers, since when is it their job to be censors?  I read all they did was move their money to other Fox shows anyway. Cowards. And the groups that boycotted are just stifling free speech.

Caption: We’re going to deep-six the advertisers who boycotted the Glenn Beck show. They’re whiny babies, and they have poor boundaries. Aren’t they r-a-c-i-s-t, too?

* I changed the title to r-a-c-i-s-t because the advertisers on the sidebar apparently don’t like the word anymore than anyone else!
